Tenzing was named IABC Toronto Small Agency of the Year 2022.

Here’s what we helped our clients achieve to earn the accolade (and another trophy for our powder room).

Corporate Social Responsibility

The Commonwell L.E.A.F. Initiative

In 2021, The Commonwell and Tenzing developed and launched a brand new CSR program to distribute $1 million in grants to build long term community capacity, resiliency and sustainability through access to education and community building in rural/urban areas where economic vitality is at risk. In five months we created a new program, branded it, produced all the promotion materials and plans, designed, wrote and built the website, and executed with enough time to accept donations, evaluate them and award winners.

Ya, we helped CMIG do that.

The result? Over $5 Million grant dollars were requested from across Commonwell Country by worthy and well The result? Over $5 Million grant dollars were requested from across Commonwell Country by worthy and well-aligned community learning hubs and spaces. Our community engagement strategy took off, resulting in tons of no cost exposure for the brand. The best part? Seeing the difference these grants are making in communities across the province.

Not for Profit & Fundraising

Count on Us – Huntsville Hospital Foundation

Fundraising in a pandemic brought a lot of unknowns and challenges. Fundraising for a hospital in a pandemic – even more complex. But Tenzing’s strategy was clear. As friction increased between the seasonal property owners who flocked to their properties during lockdowns and the year round local residents, we focused on unity. As friction increased between the seasonal property owners who flocked to their properties during lockdowns and the year round local residents, we focused on unity. Looking after each other is what makes this community strong. We inspired confidence in the hospital at a time when fear and uncertainty was everywhere. You can count on the Huntsville Hospital to provide exceptional medical care when you need it most.

The result? Powerful, emotive creative and smart planning that led the best fundraising year in the foundation’s history. Over $5 Million was raised, a 30% increase over 2019. New donors increased by 19.4% over 2019.

Brand Development

The Lumenus Brand

How do you take four separate mental health, developmental and community service agencies in Toronto and amalgamate them into one? When the average wait time in Toronto for mental health services can exceed 600 days, when 75% of parents give up looking for help for their children with developmental challenges and when demand for mental health services and developmental expertise has increased 200% since COVID-19 began, you better do it right.

Tenzing created a new, modern brand identity and positioning around guidance, optimism and a supportive circle of care, one that resonated with an extremely diverse group of stakeholders (no easy task). In a system that has historically been extremely cluttered, poorly defined, challenging to navigate and full of systemic barriers and gaps,

Tenzing helped position Lumenus as a leader in the development of a unique and broad continuum-of-service model. The Lumenus name and logo feels like a beacon of light, a glowing sign of hope in the darkness. The new brand identity gives the organization a strong, unified voice. It empowers it to deliver its promise: Be seen. Be heard. Be well.
